BOOK A PERFORMANCE
PERFORMANCE REQUEST FORM
Our Allegro choirs are available for community performances throughout our performance season. (October - June) Also, consider our "CHOIR FOR HIRE," Brillante. The 24-voice high school group serves as ambassadors within our surrounding metro area at private, corporate and community events of any size. Their repertoire includes:
1. National Anthem
2. 20-30 minute concert set with variety of audience appealing music to entertain all ages
3. 20-30 minute set of Holiday Music, favorite carols.
Performances are booked on a first come basis. Requesting a performance 3 months in advanced increases the possibility of securing a spot on our calendar, as we must take into account the current commitments of singers and families when scheduling additional performances.
A donation to the Allegro Scholarship Fund is appreciated.
Please submit the form below if interested in having one of our ensembles perform for your event. We will contact you.
Director Allegro con Spirito
Chris rehearses, conducts, writes and performs with an ardent energy and a committed focus. His rehearsals are contagiously positive and encouraging.
DMA in Choral Conducting - Kansas University

2015 Recipient of the Sandra Keller Daugherty Award for Outstanding Graduate Conducting at KU
Christopher serves as the Director of Choral Activities at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas. His career highlights include conducting the KU Men’s Glee Club at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, Kauffman Stadium for a Royals game and at the 2016 Kansas Music Educators Association convention in Wichita, Kansas. He has also performed with Kantorei KC, a regional professional choir, as chorister and assistant artistic director. With his probing of the expressive style of every piece of music and his overall commitment to excellence, Chris is a natural fit with the Allegro family.
Christopher is currently the Repertoire and Standards (R&S) Chair of College & University Choirs for the Kansas Choral Directors Association as well as the R&S Chair of Mens Choirs for the Southwestern Division of the American Choral Directors Association, but before all that, Christopher was a pianist, improvising at an early age. He functions equally well in a variety of music styles including pop, rock, gospel and blues. Outside of the rehearsal space, he enjoys reading and researching varied subjects including American history, spiritual insight and the practice of leadership. Sharing with his family an immense love for travel, often they find themselves on the road traveling to historically significant locales. And although he is originally from North Carolina he prefers Kansas City barbecue!
Valuing the singer's personal growth above all else, his approach to teaching choral music is that of a mentor. Chris strives to develop a personal relationship with young singers while motivating each to pursue excellence in other elements of their lives. With a leadership style that encourages camaraderie, he stimulates both individual and team development within the choir.
