KELLYN BUTTON
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Kellyn graduated in May 2022 with a Master of Music in Choral Conducting at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, studying under Dr. Jennaya Robison. She also holds a Bachelor Degree in Music Education from Kansas State University. Kellyn is currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Children’s Choir at Resurrection United Methodist Church, and as the Vocal Assistant at Olathe North High School. Kellyn taught choir in Independence, MO, for three years, and she is an active participating member of MCDA, NAfME, and ACDA. She lives with her husband, Zach, her son, Oliver, and their lovable animals, Gelly and Miss Kitty.
ELLA STOTTS
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Ella Stotts, Rehearsal Assistant - Ella is in her last year of studying Vocal Music Education at UMKC, and will graduate in May. After graduation, she hopes to find a music teaching job here in the KC Metro area. She worked with the Youth Chorus of Kansas City before joining the Allegro Family, and she couldn't be more excited to be a part of this community. Ella likes to cook, crochet, do puzzles, and watch sunsets in her free time!
BENJAMIN WANG
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
After interning with Vivo last year, Ben very graciously accepted the offer to return as Alex’s assistant in Spirito for the ‘23-‘24 concert season! Ben began his music teaching career last year in the Blue Valley School District, but has joined the staff at the Académie Lafayette upper school to help build their music program. He is incredibly thankful for yet another opportunity to work with and learn from Allegro’s talented young musicians and veteran educators.
